In the wake of the Haitian earthquake, one of the deadliest of all times, Iowa Republican Steve King is at it again, joining in the hateful cries of the likes of Pat Robertson and Rush Limbaugh. King called for the deportation of all illegal Haitians living in the U.S. back to Haiti, so they can clean up the earthquake, even though they have no country to return to. How very compassionate of him!
Yes, this is the same Steve King that has compared immigrants to livestock and claims that immigrants have killed more people than have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2002, the same Steve King that defended Rush Limbaugh's racist remarks about Philadelphia Eagle's quarterback Donovan McNabb and said that the NFL owed Rush an apology, and the same Steve King that said marriage equality for same sex couples in Iowa will lead to socialism and legalized incest.
As a native of Iowa, I am ashamed of Mr. King and the constituents that voted this fear mongering priest of the Gospel of Hate into office.
